Vilnius – the city of 1200 medieval buildings and 48 churches
Vilnius Old town walking tour includes major attractions of the old town – the main church of Vilnius Cathedral Basilica, the oldest street in the old town – Pilies street with original buildings ranging from 14th to 19th century, Gothic architecture ensemble – St. Anne”s, Bernardines, St. Michael”s churches, the 16th century Gates of Dawn that originally formed part of the town fortifications. There is a holy image of the Virgin Mary that is very famous in the religious community, because of the legendary miracles that were performed with the help of this icon. The tour continues to the Orthodox church of the Holy Spirit, built in the 17th century, with the preserved bodies of three martyred saints Anthony, Ivan and Eustachius. Then we shall visit the town hall and town hall square – the former marketplace and public executions place, as well as the Vilnius University with all its 13 courtyards and a variety of architectural styles dating back to 1579.

Riga – medieval fairytale
Riga Old Town walking tour. The tour encompasses the most significant sights of Riga. Enjoy the beauty of this ancient Hanseatic city, while strolling through the cobble-stone, picturesque streets of the Old Town. The walking tour of the Old Town includes the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the Large and Small Guilds, Riga Castle, the Three Brothers, the Swedish Gate, the Freedom Monument and view the many wonderfully restored houses.
A sightseeing tour to Jurmala – the vibrant Latvian sea resort on the coast of the Gulf of Riga. Jurmala is attractive by its natural beauty – golden sandy 30 km long beach and has been a favourite resort since the end of the 18th century. Make a visit to the small coastal villages where you can enjoy the architecture of picturesque summer-houses which have remained from the previous century.

Discovering medieval Latvia
A bus tour for this morning takes a group to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda, which is one of the most popular and most visited places in Latvia. This is due to its lovely environment, where the incredible Gauja River valley can be seen. The area is a combination of steep slopes, ravines, streams, sandstone and dolomite cliffs and caves. There are 221 cultural memorials in the Park’s territory, as well as the highest concentration of castle mounds in Latvia found in such a small area. Firstly you will visit the medieval Livonian Order Sigulda Castle. Nowadays it is a great place for taking a walk around the walls of the castle and a look at the exhibits that are on display. Then you will see Sigulda New Castle built in the end of 19th century and belonged to the family of Grand Duchess Kropotkina, but later served as a Writer’s Castle and as a cardiology sanatorium. Close to the entrance of castle yard and the parking there is a small square full of cute sculptures of warriors, made from metal household appliances and stone.Our next destination includes the legendary Gutmanis cave. A legend states that the water in the creek emanates from Gutmanis’ tears, and drinking it is supposed to be healthy and boosting one’s lifespan. Afterwards you will take a ride on the aerial cableway along the 1060 m long cable funicular, which is popular not only among tourists, but among all of Latvia’s inhabitants. During the ride you will be able to see the picturesque banks of the ancient Gauja River valley and its surroundings.At the end of this tour you will visit the Turaida Castle and its park complex, including the “Dainu Hill” and “Song Garden” favoured by the Latvian people. You will hear many interesting and historical facts about Turaida, which witnessed the entrance of Christianity in the territory of Latvia.

A genuine museum-town, unique among other old European towns for its well-preserved medieval Old Town.
A bus sightseeing tour to the Kadriorg Park, founded by Russian tsar Peter the Great at the beginning of the 18th century. The total territory of the park is 100 hectares. The main building in the park is the baroque palace, built according to the project of an Italian architect Niccolo Michetti. It was the residence of the president of Estonian Republic before the Second World War and presently houses the Kadriorg Art Museum. Though big restoration works are under way in the park at the moment, you can still enjoy its beauty and marvel at its different architectural styles. You will visit the Song Festival Grounds where famous Estonian song festivals with more than 100 000 singers are held. The tour ends in Pirita, where it is possible to have a glimpse at the Olympic yachting harbour and the ruins of St. Bridget’s Convent.
Medieval Tallinn walking tour which begins with a brief history of Estonia and Tallinn and continues with visits to the most interesting and significant sites of Lower and Upper Old Town, each with their own story to tell. The sightseeing tour takes us inside the old medieval city walls where it will be possible to see the Toompea Castle, one of the oldest churches in Estonia – the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral – the largest Orthodox church in the city, medieval Great Guild Hall, the impressive over 600 year old Town Hall and the Town Hall Pharmacy, which is one of the oldest continuously functioning pharmacies in Europe.

A guided tour of the Rocca al Mare Open Air Museum, which comprises a village, with 12 farmhouses, its own church, tavern, school, several windmills and a village swing. The museum is located in a lovely, well-maintained forest park that will bring you closer to the ancient roots of the Estonians. The authentic feeling of old times will increase with every step of the tour. Each dwelling and building here is real –all the houses are carefully deconstructed and delivered from all over Estonia to the museum, wherethey were rebuilt again.
Transfer to the harbour to embark the Tallink Line overnight ferry bound for Stockholm. The ferry offers a lot of facilities including restaurants, cafes, night club and much more. While we travel slowly down the archipelago past numerous islands and islets we enjoy a Scandinavian buffet dinner on board the ship.
